Happening from 24th to 28th November 2024, the innovative five-day retreat will be led by esteemed neuroscientist Dr. Hanna Poikonen and aims to cultivate cognitive wellness through a cutting-edge blend of movement, scientific insight, and interactive discussion. This marks the first time that the globally recognised programme will be hosted in Thailand.
Armed with over 15 years of experience in brain research and a rich background in contemporary dance, martial arts, and meditation, Dr. Poikonen will be leading WiseMotion participants on a transformative journey to boost brain health and emotional well-being. Her unique approach fuses movement meditation, scientific insights, and creative improvisation to offer a holistic experience overall.
The comprehensive WiseMotion Retreat will be an immersive programme featuring daily movement sessions, masterclasses, and opportunities for creative expression and inspirational dialogue, designed specially to promote emotional balance, soothe the nervous system, and elevate the participants’ cognitive function.

It goes without saying that the retreat will be taking place at Trisara Phuket, the island’s most exclusive pool villa beach resort aptly named after “The Garden in The Third Heaven” in Sanskrit. Set in a protected nature reserve encapsulated by a tropical forest, exotic gardens, and the sparkling Andaman Sea, the resort features 60 ocean-facing pool villas and private residences, a private beach, the Jara Spa, and three dining venues including PRU, the only Michelin-starred restaurant in Southern Thailand, and an organic on-site garden.
Priced at US$3,200 per person for double occupancy and US$5,350 per person for single occupancy, the WiseMotion Retreat includes four nights in an Ocean View Pool Junior Suite, return airport transfers to and from Phuket International Airport, daily breakfast, communal lunch, and dinner hosted by Dr. Poikonen.
