Created by Standard International’s acclaimed in-house design team in partnership with Ministry of Design, The Standard, Singapore fuses the cultural richness of the East with the cosmopolitan flair of the West. Its 143 thoughtfully designed rooms are spread across eight floors, each with floor-to-ceiling windows, offering views of the pool, and the lush greenery of the district the property is strategically situated in.
The Garden, which is stretched across the first and second floors leading up to The Pool, affords a serene moment of respite for guests. Kaya at The Standard reimagines the Izakaya experience with bold flavours and an inventive cocktail selection. While Japanese inspired, the food at Kaya utilises regional ingredients and blurs the line between the non-formality of an Izakaya with refined elements and artful presentation.
Adjacent to it is the Kaya Bar that brings to life The Standard’s experience for which the brand is renowned. On the ground floor sits Café Standard, a street-facing, buzzy neighbourhood spot with an all-day dining menu that comprises American fare paired with natural wines and craft beers.
