Swiss Haute Horlogerie manufacturer Audemars Piguet recently announced the inauguration of its first AP House in Singapore – nestled within the historic grounds of the renowned Raffles Hotel, specifically at the historic Bar and Billiard Room. This expansive 1,000-square-metre haven immerses guests in the essence of Audemars Piguet, drawing inspiration from the brand’s origins in Le Brassus and the lush natural surroundings of the Vallée de Joux.
As the flagship location in Southeast Asia, AP House Singapore harmoniously combines local character with Audemars Piguet’s esteemed heritage, providing an exceptional experience for horology aficionados, newcomers, and discerning travellers.

A Globally Recognised Landmark
Established in 1887, the Raffles Hotel is often called the Grande Dame of Singapore, having hosted countless dignitaries and celebrities over the years. Today, it stands as a globally recognised landmark, embodying a deep reverence for heritage and tradition that resonates profoundly with Audemars Piguet.
The Bar and Billiard Room, which opened in 1896, quickly became the hotel’s distinguished social hub for esteemed guests and remains a cherished heritage building. As custodians of this historic location, Audemars Piguet has carefully preserved the building’s iconic architecture while ensuring the interior reflects the brand’s spirit of innovation and elegance.
AP House Singapore is part of a select group of over 20 Houses located in some of the world’s most dynamic cities worldwide, including Amsterdam, Bangkok, Barcelona, Hong Kong, London, Los Angeles, Madrid, Milan, Mexico City, Munich, New York, Shanghai, Seoul, St Barths, Tokyo, and Zurich. The AP House concept, developed in collaboration with valued clients, envisions the lifestyle of the brand’s founders in the 21st century, offering sophisticated spaces where comfort and personal connections are paramount.

The World’s First AP Café
In a pioneering move, Audemars Piguet introduces its inaugural AP Café within AP House Singapore. Open to the public, the café serves as an inviting introduction to the brand, featuring soaring arched ceilings that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for both loyal patrons and newcomers.
“We aimed to elevate our hospitality and further evolve the AP House concept with the opening of our very first AP Café. Our goal is to create a welcoming hub for all – watch enthusiasts, connoisseurs, travellers, and locals alike – to come together, share their passions, and forge meaningful connections. With the city’s renowned food culture as the perfect backdrop, AP Café blends Swiss heritage with Singaporean flair, offering a unique culinary experience,” said Ilaria Resta, the Chief Executive Officer of Audemars Piguet.
The menu offers a curated selection of Swiss dishes, reimagined with Singaporean influences, paying homage to the island’s rich culinary traditions. This initiative underscores Audemars Piguet’s dedication to enhancing guest experiences by blending Swiss heritage with local culture, reflecting a broader trend in luxury watch retail towards creating hospitality-driven spaces that foster deeper customer relationships.
Watch What You Eat
At AP Cafe, visitors can indulge in a menu that masterfully blends Swiss heritage with global sophistication. From the delicate crispness of Bricelets, the perfect savoury bite to pair with a fine drink, to the opulent Golden Rösti, wrapped in gold leaf and crowned with crème fraîche and caviar, each dish is crafted with precision and elegance.
The White Pepper King Crab & Avocado offers a refined balance of roasted king crab, creamy avocado, and a hint of citrus; while the Spiced Beef Tartare presents a bold fusion of Australian Wagyu, sriracha, and crisp wonton skins.
For those craving comfort with a twist, the Short Rib Raclette Pie reinvents Swiss tradition with layers of hot smoked beef, raclette cheese, and buttery puff pastry.
The Chicken Rice Club Sandwich brings a vibrant depth of flavour with house-made ginger and chilli aioli, while the Smoked Salmon & Buckwheat delivers delicate layers of Scottish smoked salmon and mascarpone between nutty buckwheat crêpes. To round out the selection, the Caesar Crudité transforms a classic salad into an indulgent, dip-style delight.
On the sweeter side, the menu does not disappoint, featuring decadent treats such as the Swiss Roll, Honeycomb & Honey Ice Cream, where vanilla sponge embraces chestnut puree and white chocolate Chantilly, finished with candied chestnuts and a scoop of honeycomb ice cream. Meanwhile, the Hazelnut Crunch promises a showstopper, with dark Valrhona chocolate cradling a caramel-filled hazelnut praline, topped with toasted hazelnuts for added texture. This menu is a true indulgence for the senses, combining intricate flavours and luxurious ingredients for an unforgettable experience.
The establishment of AP House Singapore and the world’s first AP Café exemplify Audemars Piguet’s commitment to innovation and excellence, providing a unique environment where horology meets hospitality, and tradition blends with modernity.
