Experience Magical Nightlife at the Singapore Night Festival 2025

From 22 August to 6 September 2025, Singapore’s iconic Bras Basah.Bugis precinct lights up for the 16th edition of the Singapore Night Festival.

Get ready for Singapore’s largest nocturnal celebration as the Singapore Night Festival returns for its 16th edition from 22 August to 6 September 2025, illuminating the Bras Basah. This year’s theme, Island Nights, brings together art, heritage, light, and culture in a glowing tribute to island life after dark.

Marking Singapore’s 60th year of independence, this year’s festival – curated for the first time by HeritageSG – invites festival-goers to explore the country’s vibrant island heritage and its cultural links to other island communities around the world.

Expect three weekends packed with captivating art, immersive experiences, and a showcase of island-inspired food, music, and retail.

What to Expect at Singapore Night Festival 2025

Sky Castle at Cathay Green
One of this year’s must-see installations, Sky Castle by Australian art studio ENESS, is an interactive dreamscape of colourful, inflatable arches that react to movement with waves of light and sound. The cascading colours symbolise hope and joy – like the appearance of a rainbow after a storm.

Kampong Chill at Capitol Singapore
Seeking a slower pace? Head over to Kampong Chill by artist duo Sheryo & Yok for a peaceful pavilion experience inspired by kampong life. This tranquil escape offers visitors a chance to unwind and reconnect with the simple pleasures of community and nature, right in the middle of the city.
