Disney Destiny Sets Sail in 2025 with Heroes and Villains Theme

Disney Cruise Line is thrilled to announce the launch of its newest ship, the Disney Destiny, setting sail in November 2025. This vessel will be a sister ship to the Disney Treasure and Disney Wish, offering guests unforgettable cruises to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean from Port Everglades, Florida. The Disney Destiny will be a haven for Disney, Pixar and Marvel fans, with its design and experiences inspired by the iconic heroes and villains from these beloved franchises.

The ship’s accommodation, restaurants and entertainment venues are all thoughtfully crafted to bring these characters to life in new and exciting ways. The Disney Destiny promises to deliver an extraordinary cruise experience that will create lasting memories for guests of all ages.

Imaginative Dining Restaurants

The Disney Destiny offers immersive dining experiences that transport guests to fantastical realms. At Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King, diners become part of the circle of life as they witness Simba’s journey unfold through live music and themed cuisine.

Meanwhile, Worlds of Marvel invites guests to suit up and save the day alongside their favourite Super Heroes. This cinematic dining adventure features an exciting Avengers: Quantum Encounter with a special appearance by Spider-Man, complemented by a global menu inspired by the heroes’ diverse origins.

For a taste of Hollywood’s golden age, 1923 offers a sophisticated ambiance amidst storyboards, sketches, and props from classic Disney films, paired with the fresh flavours of California cuisine. The ship also offers casual dining options, including Edna À La Mode Sweets, Marceline Market, and walkup cafés inspired by Hercules and Merida.

Legendary Entertainment

Guests of all ages can look forward to an impressive lineup of entertainment aboard the Disney Destiny. Exclusive to this ship, the Broadway-calibre Disney Hercules – The Musical brings the animated film to life with larger-than-life characters and unforgettable music. Stunning visuals and state-of-the-art effects promise a breathtaking theatrical experience.

Guests can also immerse themselves in the heartwarming story of Anna and Elsa with the stage production of Frozen, A Musical Spectacular. This performance features characters, iconic songs, and special effects, bringing the magic of Arendelle to the stage.

Disney Seas the Adventure invites guests to join Goofy and other Disney and Pixar characters on an original stage spectacular filled with music and laughter. Finally, character meet-and-greets with heroes and villains like Loki, Cruella de Vil, Black Panther, and Spider-Man round out the entertainment offerings. Additionally, guests can enjoy first-run and classic Disney films at one of the two onboard cinemas.

Adult Escapes

On the Disney Destiny, adults can step into the worlds of their favourite Disney films at sophisticated lounges and bars designed just for them. De Vil’s, a stylish lounge near the Grand Hall captures Cruella de Vil’s bold personality and dramatic flair. Enjoy trendy martinis, classic cocktails or high-end champagne while listening to live music on a black-and-white-spotted piano.

For those who prefer a touch of the macabre, the Haunted Mansion Parlor offers a spooky yet thrilling experience. Encounter lively “spirits” while sipping on specially crafted cocktails in this atmospheric hangout. Finally, set sail for a pirate’s life at the pub inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean. Surrounded by treasures and rum bottles, this space invites you to relax, catch up on sports and enjoy a wide selection of spirits and brews. Some are even served straight from the barrel, pirate style.

The ship also features adult-exclusive areas like the Marvel-themed Sanctum lounge, upscale dining at Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté, the serene Senses Spa and the Quiet Cove Pool.

Action-Packed Kids Clubs

Kids can bring their favourite Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars stories to life in dedicated, interactive spaces with the help of trained Disney counsellors. At Fairytale Hall, young royals can meet Disney Princesses, make lanterns at Rapunzel’s Art Studio, act out stories in Belle’s Library and create ice magic at Anna and Elsa’s Sommerhus.

Meanwhile, at Marvel Super Hero Academy, kids aged three to 10 can team up with Spider-Man, Black Panther, Ant-Man, The Wasp, and other Super Heroes to prepare to save the world. Finally, Star Wars: Cargo Bay invites kids to join the Resistance, climb aboard a starship, team up with Chewbacca and Rey and wrangle Porgs, Loth-Cats, and more.

In addition to the themed spaces, there’s also Edge for teens to chill and make friends, Vibe for older teens to enjoy music and games, Walt Disney Imagineering Lab for kids to design their own roller coaster and Mickey & Minnie Captain’s Deck for little ones to play and meet Captain Minnie.

Movie-Inspired Accommodations

Each stateroom and suite will feature custom artwork showcasing epic journeys, inspiring guests to dream of distant lands. Most cabins will continue to offer the signature split bathrooms for added comfort and convenience. Concierge-level accommodations will draw inspiration from the fantastical world of ‘Fantasia’, while seven special ocean-view staterooms will celebrate the heroism of ‘The Incredibles.’

The Concierge Lounge and private sun deck will be adorned with Avengers-themed decor, immersing guests in the world of their favourite superheroes. The two-story Destiny Tower Suite is a luxurious penthouse inspired by Tony Stark, complete with iconic Iron Man elements.
