Formula 1 to Kick Off 2025 Season with Historic London Launch Event

Formula 1's first ever season launch event will showcase all 10 teams, their drivers and Team Principals, plus top entertainment.

Marking a historic first for Formula 1, all 10 teams (Alpine, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Haas, Kick Sauber, McLaren, Mercedes, Racing Bulls, Red Bull, and Williams), their drivers, and Team Principals will convene with fans for an unprecedented world premiere event in London to kick off the new season and celebrate the beginning of the high-octane sport’s 75th anniversary year. The event will take place on 18 February 2025 between 8pm and 10pm at London’s The O2.

Formula 1’s first official season launch event will be brought to life by creative visionary Brian Burke of BrianBurkeCreative, Stufish Entertainment Architects, DX7 Design, and production company 1826. BrianBurkeCreative and this world-renowned team were the brains behind the groundbreaking opening and closing ceremonies for the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix, and Burke himself is a global Emmy nominated creative producer who has over 20 years of expertise redefining live entertainment across genres, comprising “Best of Las Vegas” spectacles, global music tours, and record-breaking worldwide live television series and events.

Fans will be able to immerse in the drama and spectacle that is Formula 1, as they witness teams unveil their 2025 liveries and the upcoming season’s driver line-ups. Visitors can also expect interviews with key Formula 1 figures, including drivers and Team Principals, as well as top entertainment and special guest presenters. Those who cannot attend in person will still be able to watch the event live, with broadcast details and further event information to be revealed in the coming weeks.

Ticket pricing for the Formula 1 world premiere event is based on location within London’s The O2, ranging from £58 to £113. These prices include booking fees (an additional transaction fee of £2.50 per order will apply) and will go on sale at 10am on Friday 15 November via this link.

The 2025 Formula 1 season is going to be an epic ride with 24 Grands Prix, showcasing pulse-pounding action week after week at iconic circuits globally. Adding a distinctive twist to the F1 schedule is the Las Vegas special Saturday night race. In a game-changing move, Lewis Hamilton will be racing for Ferrari, on top of other thrilling changes in the 2025 F1 driver lineup, which will be disclosed at the Formula 1 world premiere event.

Commemorating the fifth season of the Sprint, Belgium will be returning for the first time since 2023. Both Shanghai and Miami are set to host the Sprint for the second consecutive year. On the other hand, Austin, Texas and Qatar return to the Formula 1 calendar for a third time. The 2025 season is brimming with excitement with so much to look forward to!
