Stationed within the prestigious China World Shopping Mall, the newly opened Armani/Caffè in Beijing marks a significant milestone for the Armani Group – its first restaurant in China. Beyond a dining destination, the space is a reflection of Giorgio Armani’s deep connection with the city and his enduring admiration for Chinese culture.
Boasting refined aesthetics, the Armani/Caffè invites guests to experience the essence of the Armani lifestyle in an atmosphere that is both elegant and inviting. Guests can enter the Armani/Caffè – designed by Mr. Armani with his team of architects – either through its main entrance on the third floor of the department store or a lift directly from inside the Giorgio Armani boutique located on the levels below.

The restaurant, spanning an area of 350 square metres, accommodates up to 110 people across its two indoor dining rooms and 40 on the spacious outdoor terrace. Those stepping in will immediately spot the restaurant’s contemporary design with a retro allure, complemented by soft furnishings and light blue and gold wallpaper adorned by the House’s iconic palm motif.
Marked by a linear desk inspired by the VENUS console and echoed by a bar counter, the Armani/Caffè’s sophisticated entrance leads to the two dining areas: one more intimate and the other more spacious, both reachable through a corridor with an open wine cellar.

Further ornamenting the space is the large-slab terrazzo flooring with champagne metal edging and a vast bronzed mirror and gilded metal walls that evoke vibes from the 1930s and 1940s. Lamps and furnishings from the Armani/Casa collection punctuate the space, while the windows that look out onto the outdoor terrace allows for slightly screened natural lights to flood in.
Blending Italian culinary traditions with international influences, the menu embraces simplicity and lightness, resulting in a refined and distinctive harmony of flavours. Every dish showcases premium ingredients, meticulous craftsmanship, and a sleek, sophisticated presentation – hallmarks of Giorgio Armani’s vision of dining. These signature elements not only define the experience at Armani/Caffè but also create a unifying thread across all Armani restaurants worldwide.
