Taking the second spot is Passalacqua, an 18th-century villa on Lake Como, Italy. This 24-room hotel, once home to Pope Innocent XI, features rooms priced from $1,300 per night. Its rich history and breathtaking views easily justify its position among the world’s best.
Rounding out the top five are Rosewood Hong Kong, Cheval Blanc in Paris, and The Upper House in Hong Kong.
